To find the area of a triangle, you can plug in the values of the triangle into the equation. The base of the triangle is 5m, the height is 12m, and the hypotenuse is 13m. We don't need the hypotenuse here, so ignore the 13m. Plugging the base and height:

A = (5*12)/2
= 60 m^2

alright so what you are doing is getting the area of the whole triangle, and that formula is what you do so bxh is 5x12 and 5x12=60 then you need to divide 60 by 2 which is 30 so your answer will be
B 30m^2
