The figure is a trapezoid.

(a) Area

Formula for the area of trapezoid is:

A = (a + b)h

Where:

a is the base above

b is the base below

h is the height.

Area = (3 + 11) * 7

2

Area = 14/2 * 7

Area = 7 * 7

Area = 49

(b) perimeter

To get the perimeter of a figure, you add all the side length.

So,

Perimeter = 8 + 3 + 10 + 11

Perimeter = 32
