Warm wind is present at the equator and because the molecules of warm air has more kinetic energy, therefore, they move away from the equator towards the poles.

Now, at the poles cold or cooler air is present which is replaced by warm air. Then this cooler air moves towards the equator.

Flow of these winds is due to the heat which helps in their movement.
