What happens to the volume of a solid when it is moved to a larger container?

It becomes more dense.

It becomes less dense.

It increases to fill the container.

It remains unchanged.

IT REMAINS UNCHANGED because, Would the volume of each substance change if each were moved into a larger container? The size/shape of a liquid and gas would change with a change in container size. The volume does not change if the amount of liquid and gas stays the same.
