If 4 peanut butter cups cost $0.96 and the peanut butter cups all cost the same amount, what is the price of each peanut butter cup?

So, what you are supposed to do is take the money and the divide it by the number of items.
0.96/4=0.24
In this case, your answer is 0.24

We can set up an equation with x as the price of one cup:
4x=0.96
x=0.96/4=0.24

Each cup is $0.24
