The balance before the deposits and withdrawal was $276.28.
27.28 + 125 + 100 + 24 = 276.28

Answer:

The balance before the deposits and withdrawal was $28.28

Explanation:

In a savings account these transactions are done:

Deposit = $100

Withdrawal = $125

Deposit again = $24

Total balance = $27.28

Let the balance before these transactions is = x

Now we calculate these transactions into this balance :

x + 100 - 125 + 24 = $27.28

x = 27.28 - 100 + 125 - 24

x = 28.28

Before these deposits and withdrawal the account balance was $28.28

We can now recheck the calculation

Deposits Withdrawals Balance

28.28

100 128.28

125 3.28

24 27.28
