Which information shows the longest wavelength? speed = 700 m/s and frequency = 350 hz speed = 300 m/s and frequency = 100 hz speed = 1,000 m/s and frequency = 1,000 hz

Wavelength x Frequency = Speed; and so Speed/Frequency = Wavelength

So, for the first wave,
700/350 = 2 m

Second wave, 300/100 = 3 m

Third wave, 1000/1000 = 1 m

So, comparing our answers for the wavelengths, the second wave has the greatest wavelength and the third has the shortest one.

Hope I helped! xx

Answer:

The longest wavelength is 3 m when speed of wave was 300 m/s and frequency was 100 hertz.

Wavelength=(Speed)/(Frequency)

Step-by-step explanation:

Wavelength is equal to ratio of speed of the wave to the frequency of the wave.

1) Speed = 700 m/s and frequency = 350 Hz =
350 s^(-1)

Wavelength of the wave:

(700 m/s)/(350 s^(-1))=2 m

2) Speed = 300 m/s and frequency = 100 Hz =
100 s^(-1)

Wavelength of the wave:

(300 m/s)/(100 s^(-1))=3 m

3) Speed = 1,000 m/s and frequency = 1,000 Hz =
1,000 s^(-1)

Wavelength of the wave:

(1,000 m/s)/(1,000 s^(-1))=1 m

The longest wavelength is 3 m when speed of wave was 300 m/s and frequency was 100 hertz.
