PLEASE HELP WITH EASY 8TH GRADE SCIENCE!!!

Why is a standard system of measurement important?

Scientists want to share measurement data that they can understand.

Each country wants its own set of measurement standards.

Measurements are seldom shared with scientists in different countries.

Scientists speak many different languages.

The correct answer is the first choice: scientists want to be able to share their data with one another. Often various scientists to multiple trials to test a hypothesis, and having more data for comparison can be beneficial

Hope this helps!

A,B and D are true, but only A is relevant to the question, so A is the correct answer. I have a book with about 10,000 conversion factors, and often they are confusing, so having lots of standards causes expensive errors. Neil
