Good Morning!
A pacemaker is a tool used to correct defects in the heart in order to maintain a proper rhythm for human survival. It is, therefore, a substitute for the natural electrical system of the human heart. It consists of a wire system, with electrodes, and a battery-based generator. The implant is made below the collarbone, close to the patient's shoulder. The electrode passes through a vein in the chest and into the chambers of the heart.
Hugs!
