A linear equation can have the form

y = mx + b

The slope is m

The point-slope form is

(y- y1) = m(x -x1) (1)

the point (x1, y1) = (6, -3)

Replacing in (1) the slope and the point (x1, y1)

(y- y1) = m(x -x1)

(y- (-3)) = 1/2(x -6)

y+3 = 1/2(x-6)
