1) Let's tackle this question by firstly finding the x-coordinate of that point of intersection. So, let's equate both functions:


\begin{gathered} f(x)=g(x) \\ \log _2x=4 \\ x=2^4 \\ x=16 \end{gathered}

2) The next step consists of finding the y-coordinate of that point plugging into one of those functions, the x coordinate we just found


\begin{gathered} \log _2(16)=y \\ 2^y=16 \\ 2^y=2^4 \\ y=4 \end{gathered}

3) Thus, the answer is:


(16,4)
