the anwser to your question is
A. 25 - n because you hsft to subtract the unknown number towards your total of 25 then you get the number of the difference

Difference means subtraction so to find the difference of a known and unknown number, you would subtract the unknown from the known or vice versa.
So the answer is
A. 25 - n
.
