first you need to get g alone, to do that you need to get rid of the 4. so, you divide 4 by 4, the answer would be 1 and you dont have to put the 1 in front of the g. now you have g=24, but now you have to divide 24 by 4 because whatever you do on one side of the equal sign you have to do to the other. the answer would be g=6. sorry if i confused you :( hope this helps
