I think they shouldn't. But it matters what kind of files. If it is pictures of people or work then no. But if it is just junk or random then ya. I don't even delete any of my files.

Files should not be deleted from your computer for various reasons. One, your job may be important and you need to save them. Two, to double check you should have them. Three, you may be able to find out if an employee is dependable. Overtime, your boss or whoever you're under can give you permission to delete them.
