Answer: m=3

Step-by-step explanation: Slope is equal to the change in y over the change in x, or rise over run. The change in x is equal to the difference in x-coordinates (also called run), and the change in y is equal to the difference in y-coordinates (also called rise). The formula to solve this is m=y2-y1/x2-x1. then you substitute in the values of x and y into the equation to find the slope. now your problem should look like this... m=8-(2)/3-(1)... Then you simplify. simplify both numerator and denominator which should leave you with... m=6/2... then you just divide and get m=3
