1. For the first image, you can see that the shown angle is 124, y appears to have an angle equal to 124 as well. So both angles =248, there has to be a total of 360 degrees so that means that angles x and z are 56 because 56x2 is 112 and 112+248=360. Therefore angle z appears to be 56.

Angle z makes a 180° angle when added to the angle of 124° in the first image, because they are on the same side of a straight line. Just subtract 124 from 180. =56

For the second picture, angle m will be the same as angle z because of the properties involved. Find angle z using the same thought process as above, and m will equal it. =55

The sum of the angles in a triangle is 180°, that's just a property they have. You add the two angles you know, subtract them from 180, and you have x. =47
