I think it's 24. If you multiply the 2 by the 2 you get 4, times the 6 is 24. Hope tis helped!

To find a area of a sheded region u need to subtract two area
area of a circle and area of a hexagon

Area of circle=pi*r^2
where r=2 inch
A=12.56 inches^2

Area of hexagon would be areas of 6 eqaul forming triangles=6*1/2B*H

A=3*6*4=72 inch

now u just need to subtract those areas

72-12.56=59.22 inches^2
