There are 42 students in a freshman math class during the first hour of a day. The students in math represent 1/16 of all of the freshman. Write an equation and solve to find the number of students in the freshman class.

If 42 represents 1/16 of the entire class then basically just multiply 42 by 16 to get your answer.

Meaning that there are 672 students within the freshman class.

Unfortunately I'm unsure how to write it out as an equation... though... as I mentioned that is the answer.
