Ok.....Since I can't graph it, we can make a table

x y

3 9

1 1

From 9 to 1, you subtract 8 (this is for the y section)

From 3 to 1, you subtract 2 (this is for the x section)

Now all you have to do is divide the y with the x

y/x = 8/2 = 4

And 4 will be your slope for these two points.
