The new temperature(T₂) : T₂=596 K = 323 °C

Further explanation

Given

T₁ = 25 C + 273 = 298 K

V₁ = 10 m³

V₂ = 20 m³(doubled)

Required

The new temperature(T₂)

Solution

Charles's Law

When the gas pressure is kept constant, the gas volume is proportional to the temperature

\tt (V_1)/(T_1)=(V_2)/(T_2)

Input the value :

T₂=(V₂.T₁)/V₁

T₂=(20.298)/10

T₂=596 K = 323 °C
