Barry rides farther. 1/2 converts to 4/8 because half of eight is 4 and 4/8 is greater than 3/8.If you subtract them then you get 1/8

Barry rides the farthest. He rides 4/8 while Emma rides 3/8 so Barry rides 1/8 more.
What I did was multiply 1/2 by 4 to get it to have the same denominator as 3/8 to where I can compare the two.
