Answer:

x = 1

Explanation:

x - 2 = -3x + 2

you can do any one of these 4 steps first and still get the same answer:

a) subtract x from each side

b) add 2 to each side

c) add 3x to each side

d) subtract 2 from each side

after doing one of the above you will have a two-step equation and must undo addition or subtraction before undoing multiplication or division
