Definition of order or operations

Order of operations is a certain rule found in mathematics. Also known as BODMAS, the order goes Brackets any numbers or operation in brackets,
Of like any power, D for divison, M miultiplication A addition and S subtraction.
You must follow the order, but if there are 2 DM or 2 AS in a row, you can do it from left to right.

Order of operations: the rules of which calculation comes first in an expression.

They are: PEMDAS

Do everything inside parentheses first: ()
then do exponents: x2
then do multiplies and divides from left to right
lastly do the adds and subtracts from left to right
