What or how do Native play a role in the relationship between the British and the French?

The French and the British were competing to colonize the world. Back then the French would trade with the native Americans in what is now Canada, but the British colonized the native Americans' land, so the natives were angry and the French saw it as an opportunity to ruin things for the British, so they helped arm the native Americans to fight the British.
