Answer:

1/2 (slope)

-5 (y-intercept)

Explanation:

the slope-intercept formula is y=mx+b

m is the slope and y is the y-intercept. therefore the numbers that are substituting the position of the variables are the slope and intercept

y=1/2x-5

1/2 is substituting for m which is the variable for slope

-5 is substituting for b which is the variable for the y-intercept
