I used elimination to solve this system of equations and found out that y = 1. What does x equal?

-5x + 13y = -7

5x + 4y = 24

C.4


D.-5

X would equal 4 because if you substitute y = 1 into the second equation, you get:
5x + 4 = 24
- 4
5x = 20
÷ 5
x = 4
