The Xinhai Revolution, also known as Revolution of 1911, was the one that overthrew Chinese Qing dynasty, the last imperial dynasty of the country. This revolution that consisted in many uprisings, was a nationalist democratic revolt that resulted in the establishment of the Republic of China.
