Bohr models show the number of electrons (regular and valence) which helps determine which sort of should take place.

The correct answer to this open question is the following.

Bohr models do not correctly show the locations of electrons in an atom. But they are still useful to predict the bonding of atoms because the model shows the number of electrons available for bonding and shows the number of electrons that helps determine the correct sort of bond.

It was in 1915 when scientists Neil Bohr established the Bohr model that contains some errors. However, it still describes the features of atomic theory in simpler terms than the ones included in the modern theories.
