Explanation:


((g)/(f) ) (-1) is just fancy notation for
(g(-1))/(f(-1)). We can evaluate each of these separately:


  • g(-1) = (-1-6)(-1-5) = (-7)(-6) = 42

  • f(-1) = 3(-1) -8 = -3-8 = -11

Therefore
((g)/(f) ) (-1) = -(42)/(11)
