Find the area of a right triangle with a base of 6 centimeters and a height of 9 centimeters....

since 6 and 9 are the two sides of the right triangle, if this were a rectangle, the area would be 6*9=54 sq centimeters. the triangle will occupy half this space, thus 6*9/2 = 27 sq cm.

Area of a triangle=(base x height)/2

Data:
Base=6 cm
height=9 cm

Area of this triangle=(6 cm)(9 cm)/2=27 cm².

Answer: the area of this triangle is 27 cm²
