A hexagon is made of 6 triangles. Calculate the area of 1 equilateral triangle with side length of 1 inch, then multiply that area by 6.

The exact answer without rounding is 2.59808 inches


The area of a hexagon can be calculated by finding the area of one of the six triangles that make it up by 6.
