The force of gravity pulling on an object down a hill is its weight multiplied by the sine of the angle of elevation of the hill.

With how many pounds of force is gravity pulling on a 3000 lb car on a hill will a 3 degree angle of elevation?
What i did: SIN3=.0523 .0523*3000 = 157 lbs (rounded) is this correct?

You are given the statement of the force of gravity pulling on an object down a hill is its weight multiplied by the sine of the angle of elevation of the hill. And then you are given a 3000 lb car on at a 3 degree angle of elevation. You will get a 3000sin3° equals 157lbs. Your answer is correct.
