Find the slope of the line that passes through the given points (2,6)and(7,4)

To find the slope between two given points, divide the change in y over the change in x.
Slope = (y2-y1)/(x2-x1) = (4-6)/(7-2) = (-2)/(5)

You can either leave your slope as (-2/5) or you can solve to find the decimal.
