Y=5/15x + 8/15 is he answer. first you subtract 5x from both sides to get -15y=-5x-8 and then you divide everything by -15 to even everything out and get Y by itself

5x-15y=-8
minuus 5x both sides
-15y=-5x-8
divide both sides by -15
y=(1/3)x+(8/15)
