Answer:

In my opinion, yes, I believe that many high school students in today's society would, in fact, find Transcendentalist beliefs relevant for a plethora of reasons. On one hand, high school students and teenagers all around the world are drawn to the ideas of nonconformity and going against what they are taught in order to stand for what they believe in. In modern-day society, teenagers often feel pressured to act, dress, or be a certain way, therefore they feel as though they are being treated unfairly what with being expected of too much yet still being treated like children who cannot think for themselves. So, because of this fact, I strongly believe that high-schoolers today would find the ideals and beliefs of Transcendentalism very appealing because of the primary message of nonconformity, to become who you truly are and not to let anyone else decide who that person is for you.
