The amount of protein that you need daily, or the recommended daily allowance (RDA), depends on your age and body size. However, protein RDAs are calculated using 0.43 grams of protein per pound of body weight for girls ages 9 to 13 and 0.39 grams of protein per pound of body weight for girls ages 14 to 18.
