surface area
so we see we got 2 triangles (top and bottom)
and 3 sides
they aer all height 6
we got that one is 3
the other is 3
and the back one is missing. how do we find it?
oh, look, there is a right angle sign
we have a right triangle
legs are 3 and 3 and hyptonuse is ?
3^2+3^2=c^2
9+9=c^2
18=c^2
sqrt both sides
3√2=c

so the bases are 3 and 3 and 3√2

surfacare area

area of rectangle=legnth times width
area of triangle=1/2 times base tiems height

so there are 2 top triangles that are 3 by 3
2*(1/2*3*3)=9
the top and bottom is total 9
sides
3*6=18
2 of them
18*2=36

and the back side
3√2 times 6=18√2

add everybody
9+36+18√2=45+18√2 mm^2

the surface ares is 45+18√2 mm^2
