So the answer is : 5y + 10 = 6y + 3
5y - 6y +10 = 3
-y= 3-10
-y= -7 Now you are looking for y not -y so you have to multiply or divide both side by (-1). It will be :
(-1) -y = (-1) -7
So:
Y = 7 Final answer.
