Answer: A. B. And C.

(3, 2). Correct.

2 = k(3).

k = 2/3.

(-9, -6). Correct.

-6 = k(-9).

k = 2/3.

(-12, 8). Correct.

8 = k(-12).

k = -2/3.

(-6, -3).Wrong.

-3 = k(-6).

It is a relationship between two variables in which one is a constant multiple of the other. In particular, when one variable changes the other changes in proportion to the first. Direct variation problems are solved using the equation y = kx.

4 = k(6)
k = 2/3

(3, 2)
2 = k(3)
k = 2/3

(-9, -6)
-6 = k(-9)
k = 2/3

(-12, 8)
8 = k(-12)
k = -2/3

(-6, -3)
-3 = k(-6)
k = 1/2
