what effects did the new deal programs have on the major problems of the Great depression such as unemployment?

Simple...

basically the New Deal was to revive the American economy to give jobs to those who were unemployed one program that was very successful was the CCC, or the Civilian Conservation Corps which gave 3 million men jobs.

the new deal program was made to help us recover from the great depression it created jobs and helped us manage our farms so that we didn't overproduce and it made social security so the old didn't need to work
