I'm not that great at stuff like this although I wish I was... Either way, I think it means that we all want things and we all have dreams or goals we wish to reach/achieve but the path isn't always easy or sometimes it seems impossible to reach. Or it's being straight up and saying that we can't always get what we want because it's not always possible and we just have to accept it.
