Bob has x dollars, he spends $75 dollars on headphones. Bob now has $200 left to spend. Solve for x.
X is $275.
To solve an equation for addition and subtraction you just subtract or add them like any other addition or subtraction problem. For example if you have the equation x - 5 = 5 you would add 5 and 5 together to get 10. x is 10.

Mia has x cookies she cooked for a bake sale, only 75 of her cookies were sold and she now has 200 cookies left. Solve for x
Like said above x is 275 because 275 - 75 = 200

For 9, to solve an equation that contains subtraction or addition you basically add and subtract. For example if the problem is x + 18 = 20 you subtract 20 and 18 and you'd get 2 so 2+ 18 = 20. Now for subtracting you do the opposite if the problem is x - 22 = 28 then you just add 22 and 28 which is 50, so 50 - 22 = 28, hope I helped
