Compare the role of women in Japan during the Heian period with the role of women in Europe during the High Middle Ages.

I have to write an essay to answer this, but I'm having trouble getting started. What are some things I could write about?

I have no idea about Heian period in japan but you can start writing how they dressed . how they paticipated in their societies . how they thought . what was their rol . and if you write one or two line for each, I mean explain each of the subjects for both types if women ,you'll have one page of an essay
