The answer is 2 and 3/5.

Basically imagine 6 as 5 and 5/5. They are the same thing, but it is easier to picture. So 5 5/5 minus 3 2/5 is 2 3/5. 5-3=2. 5/5-2/5=3/5.
2 plus 3/5 equals 2 and 3/5. Hope this helps :)
