A recipe makes 8 servings. How many servings can be made using 4/8 of each ingredient in the recipe?

eight servings  but only half of the amount the original serving would be .

4/8 is one half so you use all the ingredients in the recipe but divide the amount they want you to use in to 2.


Example : 6 eggs
6 divide by 2 = 3 so you use 3 eggs instead of 6
