To be able to answer this question, we use our knowledge on the ideal gas equation. We do as follows:
P1V1/T1 = P2V2/T2
7.6(0.50) / (273.15 + 15) = 13(0.10) / T2
T2 = 98.58 K = -174.57 degrees Celsius
Hope this answers the question. Have a nice day.

Methane gas is compressed at the rate of 3x104 m3 /hr (as measured at 0.1013MPa and 15°C) from 0.69MPa and 26.7°C to 3.45MPa. The compressor operates adiabatically and has an efficiency of 80% compared
