What is the answer for this:

7(k-3)=3k-5

Can you also explain how to figure it out pls.

First you have to simplify both sides of the equation.

7k−21
=3k−5

Then you subtract 3k from both sides.
7k−213k=3k−53k 4k−21=−5

Then you Add 21 to both sides.

4k−21+21=−5+214k=16

And lastly Divide both sides by

4.4k4=164k=4

Your answer is : k = 4
