I'll let you decide but I can help :) the light skinned genes is caused by people from a LONG time ago who migrated north where there is less sunlight. And because humans need vitamin D from the sun the human body evolved to contain less melanin which is what causes darker skin to protect from UV rays. Lighter skin=better sunlight absorption is less sunny places
Darker skin=better absorption and protection in places with a lot of sunlight:) goodluck
