Find the range for the function K(n) = 2n^{2} when D = (-2,1,3)

The range will be the set of values taken on by the function
K(n) for each member of the domain set
D.

These values are


K(-2)=2*(-2)^2=8


K(1)=2*1^2=2


K(3)=2*3^2=18

So the range is the set
R=\{2,8,18\}.
