To understand how the Sun is able to produce as much energy as it does we ... (Note - because strong force changes so rapidly with distance the applet ... In the case of the sun hydrogen atoms are fusedtogether to produce helium in a process ... can precisely quantify how much energy is released during afusion reaction.
